Kay and Lee complete the 300 mile trek

Founder of Redventure Kay White and her son Lee send news that they have completed, together, the 300 mile trek along Namibia’s inhospitable Skeleton Coast…

With the team of 12 other members, including film crew, Kay and Lee have walked for 20 days to complete this unique trek, walking where no-one has ever walked before. They have had to pump every drop of drinking water they have needed, and walk in incredible desert temperatures to survive. Meeting only Seals on their way, the daily monotony has been tough on them mentally, while the sand has tested their feet to the limit.

They land back in the UK tomorrow, so photos and details are to follow next week. Watch this space….
