manoncliff“To develop adventures that inspire people and help fundraising for blood cancer research”.

No matter what your dream is, Redventure can make it reality. We’ll introduce new experiences, places and memories that will last a lifetime, one of our goals is to inspire people to take that first step in achieving something they’ve only dreamed of. Whether you wish to trek through the Sahara, conquer Kilimanjaro or walk the Great Wall of China, Redventure can take you there.

Redventure is a dream come true for adventurer Kay White, having raised thousands of pounds for local charity Cure Leukaemia, trekking to both North and South Poles, Kilimanjaro, Everest Base Camp and The Great Wall of China. Kay now wishes to extend these opportunities to anyone who wants to experience a lifelong ambition and also benefit research into leukaemia and other blood cancers.

This non-profit organisation was formed by Kay White, who has personal experience of how leukaemia can devastate someone’s life. Even if a challenge may seem daunting, Kay has some expert advice for anyone determined to achieve their dream. “I know it’s been said a thousand times before but honestly if I can do it anyone can do it!”

Fundraising for Cure Leukaemia was launched in January 2005. The purpose is to support the Centre for Clinical Haematology at the University Hospital, Birmingham, which opened in March 2006 at a cost of £2.4million. The centre, considered to be the pre-eminent centre for haematology in Europe provides a homely place for more than 7000 patients to receive support. With nearly £12 million of drugs received from pharmaceutical companies for clinical trials with patients, the dedicated research nurses concentrate on developing cures to over 20 different types of blood cancer, and give hope to all those that walk through their doors..
